Hello! I’m Donna, thanks for dropping by – I’m very happy that you have found us!

Most of us these days have a limited budget but that doesn’t mean we have to go without!

I am currently converting our 10m x 5m (standard new-build size) garden into an edible garden – complete with an orchard! – and thoroughly enjoying the process.

Cooking has always been a big part of my life ever since I was a small child and I love sharing recipes for cost effective meals and the occasional sweet treat – who can refuse a slice of cake with their cup of tea?

I’m always on the lookout for bargains and cheaper alternatives to help the budget stretch as far as possible – after all, money is for spending but not wasting!
