Cooking from scratch is a really good way of keeping within a budget. But all too often, many recipes are over complicated and use expensive ingredients.
We have developed our recipes to have maximum flavour but still be budget friendly and best of all, quick and easy to make!
Here is an index of our recipes.
I wanted to make this an in depth index so the same recipe may appear in different categories, depending on ingredients.
There is also a search facility on the menu bar at the top of each page that looks like this ? . Just type in a key word (cake for example) and a list of recipes will be displayed.
There is also a list of our most popular posts and pages on the right sidebar of each page
When you make any of these recipes I would love to hear how they turn out so please leave a comment on the relevant recipe page!
Why not post a photo onto our Facebook page too? Or tweet us a photo on twitter @contactsquirrel using #thethriftysquirrels
